The purpose of PHBC is to grow in faith as we serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Ministering to families in our community and helping those in need is the heart of Pleasant Hill's mission. We believe the greatest need of mankind is that of a Saviour. 
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it does not change. There is one God, one Saviour and one Faith. Christ died and rose on the third day offering salvation freely to all who will accept.
We believe baptism is by full immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Also, we hold to the belief that the Lord's supper is a symbolic act of obedience. As we partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine we do so in remembrance of his death until He comes to take us home.
